I'm Sorry

To my family. You have no idea how much you helped me today. For Nathan who didn't have to but did, helped out in an enormous way. Not just with the car but for pulling me back up.

I was ready to say goodbye. To disappear. With their love I was pulled back up. I was helped off the floor and back onto my feet.

I love you all more than you could possible know. I am completely sorry for scaring you. I know that I would have hurt a lot of people who love me. Again, I'm sorry.

Happy Easter

It was a beautiful Easter Day, with sprinkles of rain now and then.

Went to church. I wish I could go to church every Sunday, but with work, not possible.

Went to Mamaw's. We had a cook out on the deck. Funny thing is...everyone who brought a side dish decided it should be tater's. So we had turkey and tons of different kinds of tater's.

Hiro found his first frog. He didn't quite know what to make of it.

Hiro also had is first wheelbarrow ride!

Hope you and yours had a wonderful Easter!

Hiro's Trick or Treat

The air was crisp. The smell of leaves intoxicating. The moon full and bright. The streets where filled with witches, fairies, monsters, goblins and of course a Hog Fan.

Mama and I took Hiro out Trick or Treating. He had a great time. His Mamaw walked him up to doors and it didn't take long for him to get the hang of it. He would say "Trick or Treat" they would give him the treat and he would say, "thank you". What a polite boy he is.

It was such a joy for me to experience this with Him. A moment in time that I want to save so I can remember it always.

Its Been Awhile...

Since I last posted a blog. Life has been speeding by like normal.

Best Friend will be moving home in a couple of weeks or less. I've very excited for her to be back.

A friend and I are now back on speaking terms.

Family is well.

I love my job! I rode on a float for Western Hat Day. I got paid for having fun. Wow, never thought I would say that.

Husband and I are getting along. Happy to be reporting that.

Bauxite Officer

Bauxite officer shoots suspect who leads authorities on chase
Monday, 08 June 2009

A man who reportedly led police on a chase Sunday was shot by a Bauxite officer.
The Saline County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the incident, Lt. Jerry Morrison said.
Around 3 p.m., Constable Scott Chaloner was behind the vehicle, which authorities said was stolen. Chaloner attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver would not stop.
Bauxite police Officer James Linker and the sheriff’s Deputy Jordan Ables then became involved in the pursuit.
The deputy reportedly was trying to put down stop strips at West Sardis and South Alexander roads when the suspect allegedly aimed his vehicle at the Bauxite officer.
The Bauxite officer then fired shots and struck the driver, authorities said. Two passengers in the vehicle were uninjured, authorities said.
The driver, whose identity sheriff’s authorities did not know, was taken to an area hospital. Sheriff Bruce Pennington said he believes the suspect was taken to Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, but a spokesman at the hospital said the driver was not there.
Authorities obviously do not know the condition of the victim at this time.
Arkansas State Police have taken over the investigation and declined to comment further.
Attempts to reach Bauxite police were unsuccessful. But according to another news report, Bauxite Police Chief Jimmy Hood said the officer has been put on administrative leave with pay while state police investigate.

Mama

Mama,

On this Mother's Day I want to express how much you mean to me. From you I have learned how to love and put others first.
I'm very lucky to have you for a mom. You hold my hand when I'm sick, you cry with me, you laugh with me. You love me unconditional no matter what I have done and do. You accept me for who I am, even when I don't accept myself.
Your not just my Mama, but you are my Best Friend as well.

Happy Mother's Day! I love you.
